This is the course blog. You should check here at least 2 or 3 times each week, for news about the course and the latest stories I have added. Your participation on this blog is worth 30% of your final grade. I expect you to post at least 2 substantial comments on this blog every week. That's the bare minimum. You can always help your cause by posting more often.
Here's how it will work. I will post at least 3 or 4 stories about digital media (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) each week. You choose one or two or more that interest you, and leave a comment that shows you have thought about the story in question. You might even include a link to something related on the Internet. Create conversation with your peers. This space is your opportunity to expand your learning in the course beyond the in-class work and assignments.
Ultimately, I hope you use this blog to learn about digital media and writing.
